Sitting in the back of a Coast Guard helicopter 
(HH52A) as the pilots shoot approaches to the 
water (SF Bay) just to the east of San Fran, 
eating my dinner while the sun is setting and the 
sky is changing colors on the far side of San Fran, it was just beautiful!
I remember it because it was a Tuesday and they 
held the evening trainer while I went to get my 
dinner from the bbq place in San Bruno. Sitting 
in the door eating bbq chicken, beans & cornbread  and enjoying the view.
Thanks Donna, I hadn't thought of that evening in years.

I was driving a '71 bus in that part of the early 
80's so it's gonna be hard to stretch any Vanagon content into this one...
