$10 bucks for a wireless one? That is cheap if it actually works for very long.

I mounted a wired one, a cheapo from a big box auto parts department (Eastern country of origin) and it works just fine. I ran the wired outside temp sensor behind the floor mat and out through the firewall at the window washer reservoir filler opening. Mounted the probe to the frame, in a protected spot, and passed the wire up through the instrument cluster cowl to the head unit and inside temp/clock display. I mounted that just above the heater control, adjacent to the instrument cluster. Sticky back velcro came with the widget and it works just fine without any extra holes or wires to power it. A good addition to my van. Sometimes the glare through the windshield makes it hard to read the LCD display.
