Same with me; gonna leave at sunrise Saturday, should arrive at BBTB around 1 pm.  Overnight, and then depart around noon Sunday to head back home.  Hey, great weather forecast!!!  Balmy!!  It's pretty cool, been there once.  Oodles of VW buses and vans of all vintages and condition.  Like-minded Volks--that's the best!


Was thinking....nametags or something to recognize each other?  I know it's corny, but then again unless you happen to be by somebody's Vanagon when they actually are there and you actually reach out for a handshake, how are you gonna meet?   Goofy 5"x7" laminated paper with string around neck to show name, where from, type Vanagon?  I don't know.  All the old-timers will hang out with each other, but what about us wanna-be's?  I think it would be cool to have some kind of "Vanagon List" signage.....magic marker florescent ORANGE??  GoWesty Logo??  Vanagon List logo??


List--Any ideas?

I'm off to BBB on Wednesday with the girlfriend via the Quartzite flea markets!  I was wondering if anyone else on the list was going?  It would be nice meet someone I know if even in a virtual way - it's my first Vanagon event.  I'll probably be there either Friday night or Saturday morning and stay until Sunday.
