I used to have a tin can telephone between my home and my neighbor where I was growing up in Rossland, BC it worked well! Had to climb to the top of the cherry tree to get the wire to go across the area between our houses though, much to the poor reaction of my mother way back when...

Not to take the story away from the tin toaster! I think Jim has something here! ;) who doesn't love toast n homemade jam in the morning?
