Hi All,

Having having recently moved from Utah to Washington state, My Utah tags had expired on my little 4 X 6 ft enclosed trailer. because It was in outdoor storage in OR for three months.

I was just Pulled over in Oregon (Sandy) for an expired plate on my trailer. and according to the police officer, that, If not for his kindness, My trailer would have been impounded.

I think I would have been better off just removing the expired UT plates ! As, most of the flat bed etc trailers I've seen, dont have any plates?

Also, I think the fact that I was in a (good grief) Hippie bus and Occupy Portland was going hot & heavy may have contributed to being pulled over in the first place.

(btw, upon stopping, I just hold both hands out the window towards the rear view mirror. Just so nobody gets nervous! ;o)

Of course, I know how scary a bald headed old white guy can appear to folks !!! ( Nobody wants to catch it !!! heh...heh...

My trailer is now properly licenced in WA state. YMMV ;o)

John C...

( .... Hello, my name is John and I am a YayHoo !!! ;o)
