Florida has the camera toll roads. I just got the bill from my trip to
Homestead Thanksgiving time. The administration fee was almost as much as
the toll. Here in NY we have EZ Pass which is good in a lot of places but
not Florida.
As for the trailer needing tags I have a one wheel by Coleman from the early
80's. When I used it had a plate and an annual inspection. For what it cost
for the plate why not?

Flashback. I'd been thinking about this and finally got around to asking my
friend who lives across the border in SC where they do not require tags on
(at least small) trailers. I asked him what would happen if he went to
another state that did require a tag. He said he could just produce his ID
showing he was from SC and that would be it. He has about 10 years in law
enforcement.
NC recently opened a toll road. From what I have heard the toll collection
is completely automatic based on cameras shooting your license plate and
sending you a bill in the mail.
