1984 Wesfalia – 1.9 L Waterboxer - 115,000 miles – Rebuilt Motor One Owner – Two Year old battery in good shape. Twice within the last two months I turned the key to start – nothing happens! Kept the key in start position and after about three(3) seconds the van stated and ran normally. Checked & tightened connections to batery, starter, grounds to transmission & left head. Thanks in most part to this venerable list, the van runs & looks like it did

in April 1984 when I bought it new. I cannot say enough good about the folks

on this list!! Any thoughts on this occurance would be much appreciated. Rey
