"obviously a dream' .........? what the asking price ? I suppose it could be worth that .

the *only* thing it has going for it ........is low miles. And if it's not rusted, for where it is ..........that's big points to the positive of course.

to call it a 'camper motorhome' is stretching it tough. . there's a bathroom and a shower ? Most women would think those come in any 'camper motorhome' .

And ..it's an air-cooled early vanagon ..with auto trans... 'not the best model to start with' let's say.

and I suspect the seller is likely not that aware of the entire water-cooled and wbxr, and subaru, and Zetec and TDI etc. etc. 'enhanced vanagons' world.

low miles are nice.. and .. I have seen, an own ...vanagons with 200K on them.. and sure they'be been through a few engines.. and have their 'loving minor wear and tear' on the insides and outsides.. but the whole van, suspension wise n' all , doesn't seem like there are that many miles at all.

'most' vanagons these days are in the 150K to 250K miles range.. and they are just like a traditional general aviation small plane.. like a Cesna ...as long as you keep the body/chassis intact and healthy .. you can rebuilt and upgrade on it forever. Vanaongs ....non-rusted and non-crashed ones.. hvae many lives in them. Any good body/chassis can be turned into whatever.. the ultimate tdi sycnro westy blah blah blah.

anyway...it's all fun. and Vanagons rock, scott www.turbovans.com trying to mostly behave .

This was listed here & ebay a few months ago - obviously it's a dream! Amazingly such a great deal if only for it's current owner with high hopes. Or is just high........ IF it ran without starting fluid maybe. . . . .
