Not hard at all. The ole t2 screw driver ( or pry bar ) method.. tilt /rock/pry a tiny bit at a time. Never have had one terminally stuck on.

for the rear main seal leak. Might not hurt to try 'Rear Main Oil Seal Leak Fix' ... an oil additive .. Barsleak has theirs, and some other oil company or auto product company has one too.
