That van as it sits, isn't even worth 1/2 the asking price. Com'on a van that sat and did the guy soak the cylinders with Marvel for at least week before dumping starting fluid into it?I had virtually the same van, rebuilt engine, new 3-window canvas, stainless steel bolt in the pop-top, gas tank re-seal, brakes all gone through, including all new rubber lines, tires, etc. IT did have the Westy rust on the kitchen side, rest was rust free. I had about $3,500 into it - I got the van fro free from a friend. I did the re-build. So this van would need probably need about the same - your looking at a $7,000 van - before any cosmetic work.If he can get it - fine.My van sold for about $2,500 - before the economy crashed BTW.Do I sound a bit bitter - LOL!
