With any of these discs you can use a jewelers rouge - in 3 different grades, coarse, medium and soft, or turtle wax to get the metal shiny. Use a variable speed grinder to get the best results with using any grinder...and always grind in the direction of the material using the flat side of the disc Walter brand makes a line grinder to make sure all your grinding streaks are cleaned up and will blend in your welds better.

I can only guess as I have not tried it. But I'd say yes as the enduro flex wheels are great at shaping aluminium and stainless. I'd say spot work only with these discs though. I can't say if the flap drums would work, but again they are pretty good on ss/aluminium.

Apart from being impressed at how good this guy can weld (mix of tig and mig), what really was an eye opener were some of the Walter brand abrasive discs/drums. > > - Enduro - Flex wheels - pretty amazing. I think I have the right product name here. Drum made up of a scotchbrite pad type material. Great for the brushed/satin finish. > http://www.walter.com/Walter/en-ca/abrasives/line-finishing/drum-sanders-drums/blendex > > > I'm not trying to be a shill for Walter, just impressed at how much work they did and how well they performed. Oh, btw, the were used on a range of angle grinders, 4 1/2" - 7". > > alistair >
