The one tank I opened up had no screen, does anyone have a picture of it? Here is the tank from my '84 http://s197.photobucket.com/albums/aa190/becida/84%20Fuel%20tank/ . I did later take the plate off to inspect the tubes, just tubes. A photo would be great!

As to the tank question I went with http://www.van-cafe.com/home/van/page_1178_1457/fuel__gas_tank.html for $225, solved a lot of problems.
