The power door locks should only draw power when they are cycling. A bad switch in one of the locks could be keeping one energized. Only a matter of time for that bad one to burn out and then get jammed.

I've woken up to a dead battery a number of times recently, so I've tried to see what's drawing amps and draining it. Other than the radio and interior lights, the only other thing that draws measurable amperage when off is the Power door locks. A test at the fuse reveals that when the car is off and the doors unlocked, the power lock system draws about 0.18 amps. Locked, it pulls 0. Anyone know if that seems like a reaonable number, or should I start inspecting places (like the door wires) to see if there's a short? I know that the system always has power, but I was surprised to see the draw as high as that when the motors are not even being actuated.

Thanks,

Jarrett 89 Westy
