I'd definitely be for that comparison Saturn vs Prius. Then I could extend the results to my AAZ powered [well, kind of powered] snycro Westy.

Actually I would be interested in comparisons. Yesterday at bURNINGvAN 2012 [more on this later] Jonathin was telling me about the experiments he did with various gear combinations and tire sizes. He thought an AAZ could pull the 10% larger 215/75 15 tires. If so I could run those and go about 65 without over reving the poor little thing.

Anybody else have actual experience with AAZ engines, stock syncro transmissions and tire sizes?

Detlev also had some information but I can't repeat it here because I'm crying to hard to see the keyboard. Something about the injection pump that I just spent a ton of money on being in adequate for the AAZ engine, won't flow enough fuel so at full throttle it's running lean which is very bad for engine life.
