Jim, I pulled the belt system off my 91 eco and put an 85 system with
thinner belts and only a 65amp alternator. Not great, but now I tighten
the alt with a prybar and two bolts. (I can't get a wrench on the
adjusting star nut in the eco). My turbo is blowing oil, I'm thinking of
putting a NA intake on and using the turbo for the 1.6NA Westy. I
assume the small turbo will fit better? (note Vanagon content..)
Will.
