I don't have my can of RectorSeal #5 in front of me, but it smells like linseed oil, looks like linseed oil when it separates, and therefore until I find out otherwise I'm not getting it anywhere near any oxygen fittings! It is, however, an excellent thread sealant for anything on a Vanagon, and as was mentioned, one can is likely a lifetime supply. I picked up a can in the early '80s and it's still good. YMMV, Gary
