Subject: Monsoon stereo help (NVC)

Hi everyone, thanks for the Friday indulgence. My wife and I used to have a 2003 Beetle convertible with the Monsoon stereo. It was awesome. We now have a 2007 Beetle convertible without it. Anyone know what is involved with the Monsoon system? Head unit for sure (seem to be a few on EBay). Amp? Speakers? Any reason I shouldn't buy one on Ebay? Could i get hung up with a stereo password/code issue, or some kind of installation key? Thanks againJeff85 Westfalia GL (stored for the "winter")07 Beetle convertible69 Type III notchback
