Most of my pictures are of Bainbridge Island Washington, where I currently live. The geography is similar to close by Victoria, as you surmised. A few were taken during travels, mostly up and down the west coast. None of Newfoundland, although my work used to take me there regularly years ago.(all my Newfoundland pictures are slides!)

The sunset shot was made crossing the Agate Passage bridge at the north end of Bainbridge Island, and Andrew Martin correctly guessed the traffic behind me was normal ferry traffic. Just as many cars in front.

BTW I'm from St. Catharines Ontario, not too far from where you live now!
