where do you guys drive where you actually get different gas at differently branded outlets? I have seen conoco, chevron, phillips 9phillips and cononco are one company), fina, sinclair, texaco 9brand owned by chevron), other gasoline trucks all lined up at a single refinery. On a recent trip to west texas,I was told by a chevron local management employee that if you buy fuel at any store in some 20 counties around there, it is chevron gas, and paying the premium that chevron charges (ten cents per gallon in that market) is foolish. Of course, he was undermining his own company, but he is a family friend.

shell is now advertizing "nitrogen enriched" fuel. as in nitrogen gas from the atmosphere, TNT, or what?
