What kind of grease do you put: 1) in the assembly of plastic parts that make up the 'pivot point' ("gear shift lever bearing") of the shifter where it goes from the interior to the bottom of the van (Bentley 34.6 says "G 000 602" and refers to "moly grease") 2) in the square box just under that ("shift mechanism housing"--I think Bentley is saying same thing there?) 3) in the ball-and-cup at the back (where the end of the shift rod connects to the transmission) (brilliantly named "Shift lever" and "lever"--no way that could ever cause any confusion--on Bentley 34.7) 4) on the ball-shaped bushings (called "Bushing, front" and "Bushing, rear") Thanks, mike |
