I use this product on my 100% canvas boat covers, my goretex jacket and any other water repelling surface with a breathable material...I have worked in outdoor clothing manufacturing and retail as a product buyer and store manager for twelve years, I've never come across a product that comes close to the effectiveness of this 303 High Tech Fabric Guard, try it!

After years of never getting around to making my own rain fly I bought the Go-Westy version. I installed it yesterday late afternoon. Took only 15 minutes to install (5 snaps screwed into support ridge at front of pop top, 2 snaps on either side on canvas securing rail).
Seems to be a well made unit and it fits fairly well. I am not completely happy with the method of holding down the front section though. A 2 straps are led across the van through the front door openings, and buckled together. This method does not seem to hold the front of the fly (the portion that covers the luggage rack) as tightly as I would like. I've also read (Samba) that water can wick inside via the straps. I'll be looking into modifying this.
The clips that hold the sides of the fly down to the rain gutter do not quite have the perfect profile to hook onto the gutter as well as one would want. How big an issue that is I don't know.
But overall, I like it. Oh and I tried lowering the top with fly attached and it is possible to stow it that way, but I think it is better to take it off.
I hope to field test it in rain/sleet soon.
