Hey,

sorry, I should have just googled for this, I was able to find it listed as CV joint grease (searched for "volkswagen grease G 000 602").

I am pretty sure I've heard people say that they use something else that's a little less messy for at least part (1), so if you're one of those folks I'd love to hear what.
