No, not overreacting, just exercising some phrydae smartassery!

The prospective buyer that came to the house a couple of nights ago had a
really nice 83.5 Westy and we talked at length about our Vanagons,
upgrades, problems, etc.  I thought maybe he was considering buying the
tires, but then he asked that crucial question, "how are they in the snow,"
Vanagon karma got ahold of me and I had to be honest: "That's why I got new
tires."

I have them on Craigslist; somebody will snatch them up.  I just couldn't
bring myself to allow the tire shop to "dispose of" perfectly good Michelin
summer Vanagon tires.
