What do you need to know? My addendum there didn't skip any of the necessary info, just some fluff. They key here is to get those things out in the daylight where you can clamp vice-grips on the cv bolt heads, if the internal wrenching splines are stripped (or before you strip them!). If you're repacking cv's you need the axle removed at both ends anyway. I'm just advocating the additional removal of the big axlenuts to make it all "easier".
