So, does that mean I should look elsewhere than our online vendors for a new tail pipe to go with the new muffler? I've already determined that I want to make sure the muffler is not a Bolsa, but more likely the Danish or German brands. but I don't want to have to redo the job in two years at all. Where do you suggest I get the parts? And I do not want to spend hundreds for a stainless steel exhaust system. In my experience, with a variety of vehicles, I have had to replace exhaust system parts only rarely. Maybe a muffler or a tailpipe over the lifetime of a vehicle. stainless certainly seems like overkill. mcneely Jeff Stewart ----- Original Message ----- > > y in a giant truck. > > So, the tail pipe was welded to the muffler.
