For "American" branded belts from FLAPS the belt length is there in the part number. The last 3 digits are it. 7435 means a width group of 7 with a length of 43.5 inches. In general you just subtract 5 from your current belt number to get the next smaller size. For example 7430 would be 43 inches long. These are not exact lengths but they are close. Different brands use different numbers for the width so make sure to visually confirm the width of the new belt if replacing with another brand.
