This reminds me of one that happened to me years ago. I shipped over $500 worth of kegerator equipment to a customer via UPS, then 2 weeks later I got a "where's my stuff" phone call.

I told him that I have a delivery confirmation to his house and he went through the roof. After three more phone calls over the next few days where he literally screamed at me through the phone, he was screaming then said in a calm voice "I'll call you back" and hung up.

He called back about 10 minutes later and explained that his order was sitting on the porch next door and he just noticed the box from his porch. He also explained that no-one lived in the house next door, there were no curtains in the windows and the grass was up past the bottom of the porch railings. I never got a apology from him but I've learned to expect over-reactions like this. One problem with being in the beer kegerator parts business is most of my on-line customers are drunk, at least the ones I talk to over the phone are.

I've shipped with FedEx, UPS & the Post Office and none of them are 100%. From my experience the Post Office does the best with small packages and UPS does the best with everything else. FedEx broke too much of my stuff, mostly CO2 regulator gauges.

Thanks, Tom Hargrave www.stir-plate.com www.towercooler.com www.kegkits.com

Kennedy shipped a Subaru conversion kit to me by UPS. It never arrived. UPS claimed that they left it on the porch at noon that day, but I was home waiting for it and it did not happen. There was an inch of fresh snow on the walk and there were no tracks from anyone coming to the porch.
