The one time I used greyhound was with an Outback hood, cross-country.  No special container, I simply wrapped it in cardboard with a small amount of padding where the seam met on the front edge;  I labeled it well and used strapping tape.  It arrived perfectly, and was MUCH less expensive than other methods, so speaking personally, I'd risk it again.   David  ________________________________ From: "JordanVw@AOL.COM" <JordanVw@AOL.COM> To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Sent: Friday, February 24, 2012 12:10 PM Subject: shipping large items greyhound BAD IDEA a friend just had a large vanagon seat shipped coast to coast greyhound..it never made it here...  just a warning..  dont let the cheap  shipping rates fool you..  no tracking.. no  guarantees...      its a crap shoot.. dont use  greyhound to ship anything that you actually want to see it reach its destination ....
