i understand the aspects of speculation etc, but i dont get why a gas station "can" not would change their price daily. other than greed, here some stations change their price multiple times a day and that infuriates me and others around. here in my city we pay close to 75 cents a gallon in taxes and at right now across the street it is $4.359 for 87 octane. arco is roughly 15 cents cheaper on average depending on location and other gas stations in the vicenity. i live in a city that has oil wells running constantly, a pipeline/mini refinery on the shore and oil derricks/rigs on the coast in shallow water within my view, and i still have to pay higher than national average for a gallon of gas. sorry for ranting but if your paying less than 4 bucks consider yourself happy and lucky. have a great weekend im going on vacation where surely i will be pissed of by prices up in big bear. another day another dollar wasted.
