I seldom give a very high grade.. and here is one guy that spells it all out in very fine understandable detail. I installed one of his engines...it was awesome.

In my communications with him he was articulate.. and clear as could be ..unlike, ahem .......'some people' ..but then I have to remind myself people are not really authors and writers per se, mostly, anyway.

but check out what Chris says.. I suggest doing just about everything he says. there is a ton of information in his post .. and it's probably the accumulation of decades of experience.

good links to suppliers too. Tips on what rear main oil seals are best etc. 'tis dang good stuff !
