This is a follow-up to my post of 3/8/2012.

I got the 2.5" flex hose and reworked how my snorkel is connected to my dust trap (cyclone) and how the dust trap is connected to the air box (Kennedy Subie conversion airbox) and how the airbox bracket is mounted.

In short--the 2.5" heater/airconditioning hose is different from the original VW hose, but should work fine. I'll see.
