If you've been following Jeff's ongoing narrative on this vehicle ad it was last at $4500, after starting at $3500, so maybe the guy has come to his senses (?) and returned to his original, exceptionally reasonable and tempting price.  Get it while you can. Heck, buy two!   Stephen

just for the record, he asks $3500, no $4500.

"The price is $3500 CASH FIRM!!!"

no further comment on my part.  mcneely

Now, I got the impression originally that this guy wasn't a VW enthusiast, as he picked this up at an auction. Now, he "likes these better because the later years had cooling leak problems and the radiators are up front". Spoken like a true expert! Maybe I should ask him how well the heat works in this one? Are the mice nests in the heating ducts included? Then, even though it needs starting fluid and a complete tune up, it " runs smooth and the automatic transmission shifts perfectly" I'd be willing to bet the fuel lines are a ticking time bomb as well. But, at only $4,500.00, its value can only go up!! Jeff Stewart ----- Original Message ----- > > At 06:30 AM 3/9/2012, J Stewart wrote: > > >Like gold, or oil futures!
