it's rarely the ecu.
and of course, it's good to have a known good spare.
the only failure mode I've ever seen in one is it just won't work, and
that's quite rare.
I hope you find one to try.
a guy local to me bought a known good one off me..
I even ran it for him in another van ..
then he calls and he wants to borrow my 'this unit' and my 'that unit'
for testing purposes ..
sure.
they can be tricky to sort though ..
what are your simptoms,
and did you try with oxygen sensor disconnected ?
