I had a "weekender" , an '85 Wolfsburg Edition camper, for 4 years and it served as a daily driver. It was wonderful. I now have an '84 Wolfsburg Edition, a "full" camper. It also is wonderful. Each serves each own purpose as designed.

Oh, one more thing. All my life I've never been able to cut a piece of wood straight-until now. I bought a used table saw at a flea market (from a German guy who loved my Vanagon!) and I don't know why I didn't buy one 30 years ago! Made every panel on my new cabinet straight as an arrow, and even allowed me to duplicate the recessed cuts for the interior panels. So now, as far as I'm concerned, I have the best of both worlds!
