Not safe. If you are lucky the spring will work out and jam against the shock. If it flies out the car behind you will not be pleased. With some creativity you can make a new post with 1-1/4" pipe and a 1/4" plate.

Hello, Anyone have a driver side, rear trailing arm for sale?

I found 2" cylinder of metal rusted off of mine! I believe it's purpose is to locate the bottom of the spring.

I am not sure if it is safe to drive like that. What do you think?
