Can't say enough good about the hitch made by Dennis Haynes. 6 heavy bolts mount it directly to the frame. I have had one on my 88 GL - 'ol Red" for several years. One other thing - it provides some additional protection from getting rear-ended by road-idiots. Not a lot - but some, because of the way it's mounted.
