Mark was an excellent guide and put together an amazing trip. He made it easy for us (despite his own illness for a couple days). The whale watching experience exceeded my expectations and was a highlight of the trip. The people, food, and scenery are all fantastic.

The roads were a little tricky at times, but overall I was surprised and how nice the main highway was. It sounds like they have improved quite a bit in recent years. We got hit with a big rainstorm on the drive home, and I counted about 4-5 accidents. Indeed, the locals (and many tourists) aren't the safest drivers. The same storm made for a hectic return home as we navigated the caravan through flooded Tijuana streets trying to find a decent border crossing. At least our undercarriages got a bath!

Here are some pics, while you wait for Mark's full report :) https://picasaweb.google.com/chimivee/BajaMarch2012
