Hi David, I know what an adiabatic process is. Because of the behavior of gases adiabatically (for example, with altitude changes), I made a bad pun out of the word. I think some would be offended. My wife might under some circumstances, if I made the comment when other people were around. She would be gracious, and not say anything, but she might be offended. I do think after I caught it (but only after sending it) that it reasonably could offend. So, I apologize, even to folks who were not offended.
