For about 5 years I ran my 1.9 with a different ratio, 1/4 sometimes 1/3 of a quart of Lucas to each oil change. Where I live it never gets below 30 degrees. I have noticed better oil pressure on my gauge- 60 to 40 range, instead of 40 to 20 range and no lifter noises.
