probably only employ "technicians" not actual knowledgable mechanics.  Guys
and gals that know only how to program the OBD-whatever, to plug in the
diagnostics, to substitute an outrageously expensive "whatever-module" when
the computer screen tell them they have found a "fault code" for that
'module'.....but actually put their hands inside a vehicle?...find a broken
wire connection? tighten a nut or a screw?....nope!  Not those technicians,
they probably don't even know what that is..."a nut?....What's the code for
that?"....

   You don't want anyone like that anywhere near your Vanagon anyhow.
