Exactly. The A/C hoses can't be moved to anywhere because of being routed THROUGH holes in the crossmember just behind the driver
wheel, and you can't move the tank away from the kitchen sink drain pipe coming out of the bottom of the van. Catch 22 sort of thing. By
the way, I was able to remove one of the hose clips where it was fastened up agains the frame rail, so I could stack the hoses vertically
to move them out of the way a little.

My question exactly! Wondering what "they" have done to accommodate vans with A/C? Hard to imagine that A/C is a U.S. option and NOT an option for European vans?
