A year or two ago when I replaced my master cylinder and clutch slave cylinder we still had a lot of piled up snow in our driveway. I did the clutch slave cylinder from inside on my belly. When the snow melted some more I did a better bleed job on the system from outside.

And if it's really nasty and you have a camper, you can pull the pad and hatch, drop the bed and lie there on your tummy doing what you have to do. Did this at a VW dealership where the salespeople had never seen a Westy. They were very impressed. And, yes, it was raining. Dave B.
