Subject: Rostra wiring question
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hi all. Hooking up a Rostra electronic global cruise to my Canadian 91 Vanagon...... Two questions..... 1. Am I reading the Bentley right that the 'hot' side of my brake switch with a constant 12V is R/Y and the "cold" side is R/BK? Thats the way I read it but I found someone else's account that doesn't match. 2. The green wire from terminal B19 is apparently my tach signal that goes from the IGN Coil to the tach gauge.....are there any adverse effects to "splitting" this wire signal and sending it to both the Tach and my cruise unit? If anyone out there has installed the Rostra unit id love a private email so I can discuss other less important stuff like where you ran your wiring, switch mounting etc etc. ThanksBrettVancouver BC
