I recommend you get an external cooler, if you can rescue you automatic transmission (by best doing 2 oil changes and driving the first for a couple of days! I had this problem before, and then I replaced the cooler with a used one which also lasted only a few month now my transmission is bad - I have no idea if it can be rebuild or if I should better replace it! Anyhow this cooler is kind of a design flaw! Remove that failure opportunity, its better to loose the transmission oil than to get water into the transmission!
