In 2 years, the van probably has 6000 miles on it. Tune-up items are on order from van-cafe. While It could certainly be a tuning issue, I have a hard time believing it would run and suddenly decide to quit because of the plugs, cap and rotor. I do have spark and all plugs were tan. But i believe Scott when he says "it's ofer a number of little things". I was initially thinking huge vacuum leak or electrical. I just wish I knew how to better systematically troubleshoot vs trying to intuitively replace parts. For example, how would I verify "unmetered air"? I'd assume a vacuum gauge or tester of some sort? But I've never done it. After two years of great running it is time to replace at least the first two items I listed. |
