FWIW, I used this stuff on my last clutch housing job: http://www.nitrolube.com/products/grease/ It's really *sticky*. Given that, my guess is it will stay with the parts longer Pic of what I mean: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-1zlJMThTMrc/S71JdLe9U_I/AAAAAAAACwc/BF__qPyqs38/s640/WBXinputShaft_cut.jpg You can see the lube in RH end of cross shaft where it enters the blind hole. I also used this on other end and between throw out bearing and throw out bearing tube. On my last pilot bearing (new part) I added a *little* grease. Likely not the right kind. Regardless, the added grease heated up and "spidered" out contaminating my clutch a little. (though it still works ok) I don't recommend doing this! image: https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-Ke2Vn_B9gFY/TE3nnQN9uDI/AAAAAAAADVM/jkRSEcArksQ/s640/KEPfwGreaseFlung.JPG Neil.
