Great post! I actually am looking for someone with a Bostig Conversion that has AC. I am just going through the process on my 84 Westy and only had one wire on the Compressor on the 84, but the ford compressor has two wires comign out of it. ANyone that can help please do! As for AC.. definitely an opinion piece. I used to run it on the stock engine when i first bought the van. Once i started to have engine problems I started to be more cautious. The wife sure does the AC while driving in the summer time. If mama is happy, everyone is happy! Hence, why I am trying to get AC back after the Bostig Conversion. > Date: Tue, 10 Apr 2012 19:06:09 -0700 > From: vw.doka@GMAIL.COM > Subject: A/C Talk > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > > I guess it's that time of year when the Sun starts to shine and talk turns to A/C for the Vanagon. > > Soon we'll be discussing the merits of R-12 v. This thread will migrate to "how to fix the overhead vents yourself". But the subject line won't change. > > > And many, many more... > > > For me...
