        Complicated !  ALL Vanagons have the normal space for two tanks.  These vehicles were manufactured for left hand and right hand use therefore the mounting points for the propane tank exist on both sides of the van.  I refurbish old tanks and make them better than new, completely sandblasted, tested and coated with POR-15 they will outlast your van.  I install second tanks for many of my customers.  Sometimes they are stand alone or sometimes connected together, depends on what the customer wants and how much they want to spend.  Me, on my van, I have two and they are independent.   I need to fill each one separately, so what ?  No big problem !  Carrying a tank inside the van is not a problem except for the SPACE it takes up, we are already out of space.  The more items that can be held on to the exterior of the van the better, for me anyways !  You go try living in that van for six months every year with your partner and you will quickly see the problems !  Check the photos of my van in my Blog and you will see how much stuff we carry OUTSIDE !
