Im installing a Rostra cruise control in a manual 91 vanagon (canadian with daytime running lights).... so I find the brake switch behind the instrument panel and trace the sets of wires coming off it so I can use a wire tap on the "hot" and "cold" side of the brake switch.  One set of hot/cold wires run to the main fuse panel area.  The other set run to a connector that appears to be broken and certainly doesn't connect to anything.  Anyone know what it might be?
