And maybe power windows too.  What have folks done to upgrade their early
Vanagons for the era of car prowlers?   I can take my '85 to Car Toys and
drop a grand on this (not!).  Are there any decent DIY options?  Just the
front doors of course, and maybe power windows if possible.  Proximity
sensor too???  "Step away from the vehicle . . ."  would be cool.  I'm
putting in a horn from my son in law's defunct Alfa that will make a great
alarm too.  ;-)
